hi everyone... i really enjoyed imgburn in the past

it was around a month ago when i burned my last dvd and today i tryed it again, but failed! :(

hope u can help me...

i read FAQ and searched... found some similar problems, but didn't find a proper driver for example this one wasn't working:

so i post my log and hope u ve got some other idears!

Is the machine the drive is in an ASUS ?

 

 

If the answer is no then thats why the firmware did not work. [AS04] in firmware would normally indicate asus [AU04 as yours is might also mean Asus].

 

If you do have an Asus machine can you post the exact model number.

i m trying version 2.4.1.0 (the latest) right now...

 

it's an asus: A6000 Series A6U

 

new blanks would be take me a nother few days so first i try those i have at home...

 

what ya think of having the img on an external ide hdd? its usb2.0 which i suggest is quiet fast enough, but let me know...

 

hope u still have some tipps for me!! i ll report of my burning...

i still have to add that i reduced speed to x2.4

 

now i have new logs, but still not working :(

Mmalves told you in your first answer here to get better media, Donta told you that you need better media, now I'm telling you that your Phillips LightScribe discs >_< are pure crap and you need to get either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (made in Singapore) discs.

Change media and post again if you have a problem. :thumbup:
