mrselfdestructuk Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 i tried burning a dvd movie with nero and it was copy protected ( i didnt know at the time) it was just dvd files it was 6+ gb so i was attempted to be burn on dvd9 disc (dual layer) but come up illegal disc, now my burner wont burn dl discs i tried with imgburn and nero but to no avail! its not the discs because i tried ive been burning on them for a while and they worked before i tried burning that protected dvd any help? here is the log from imgburn the disc im trying is a 360 dvd and ive burnt many of them and lb is correct = I 16:48:12 ImgBurn Version 2.4.1.0 started! mmalves Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I 16:54:19 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: UMEDISC-DL1-64) The blanks you have now aren't supported by your burner (notice it doesn't show any Supported Write Speeds). Even though you may be using the same brand, the brand probably bought a batch from a different manufacturer, and this one isn't compatible with your burner. Get Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks and it'll burn
