HI I'm trying to burn a large 4+gb file which imgburn tells me is outside its parameters and i need to use udf? is this still going to give me a dvd which will play on a standalone player?

Most standalone DVD players play DVDs only. This requires filesizes less than 1Gb (that's why VOBs are 1,048,574 kb).

 

All DVD players adhere to the UDF 1.02 filesystem. So ensure UDF is ticked when burning a DVD.

 

If the file is an AVI that you are sure your player can play, and it is over 4Gb, then again, do as ImgBurn suggests. However, check the player documentation to ensure it can play DivX/AVIs.
