Carleen Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Hi there, I've been burning DVDs for a while now using DVDFlick and ImgBurn. I'm usually burning .mp4 and .avi. I downloaded a torrent recently that was a WinRAR file. It extracted two folders; Audio_TS and Video_TS. The Audio_TS folder is empty, and the VIDEO_TS contains these files*: filename.BUP filename.IFO filename.VOB *Note that they actually have filenames, and there are more; I'm just lising the filetypes that were in the folder for illustrative purposes. So, my question: I've never had to burn either folders before -- is there anything I need to do to prep, or can I burn right to DVD? And of course, can anyone tell me how to go about it using ImgBurn. Thanks so much to all who read! -Carleen
mmalves Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Look at the properties of your 'WinRAR file': if it's an ISO image (i.e. it has .iso extension), burn it to disc by following this guide.
Carleen Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 Just checked, and yes, it's an .ISO. I'll give it a try and see what happens. -crosses fingers-
Carleen Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 It burned successfully, but when trying to play it in my DVD player, something came up about not having 'playback'. I tried then putting it into my PS2, and it came up with the message "TV System Does Not Match" I'm wondering if it has something to do with the file? What I'm burning may be ripped from a PAL Region DVD, and I'm NTSC. I have no idea how to check for that sort of thing. :s I'll try to see if I can figure it out, and thanks for your help in the meantime!
LOCOENG Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 You will need something besides Imgburn to convert your PAL titles to NTSC. We can't help you with this, but here are a few guides for you. Good luck and happy burning.
