Hello,

I have just downloaded this program and cannot seem to get it to work.

I am transferring my home videos onto my computer using cyberlink powerdirector express. then trying to burn the dvds with imageburn.

but i cannot view it in the dvd player.

I have a asus laptop with core duo 2 processor using windows xp. i have a multi dvd burner.

if anyone can suggest a compatible program to use with imageburn for transferring my home videos i would be extremely grateful.

thankyou

Hi louise,

Please post a log as advised by the pink banner at the top. Go to Help -> Logs.

You're probably using the wrong media and burning with a laptop burner can give problems.

I upload my home videos with Windows Movie Maker. Its limited on the editing, but it works for me...

Ok well you can't do anything with 'project' (ppp) files, you need to export the project video etc to a proper movie format - be it an AVI, DVD Video (VIDEO_TS) files etc.

I'm not familiar with the tool you're using so I can't help with that. It's probably best that you read the cyberlink help manual or something so you can figure out how to use it properly.

i have previously saved the file in cyberlink to a dvd folder which converts it to a video_ts file but when i open it in image burn it wont burn.

so i am totally lost.

i have had numerous problems with the cyberlink program and have contacted there support numerous times but they have givern up.

they wont even give me a refund or give me another program.

i cannot believe that i cant find a program to edit and put my home movies on dvd.

If you use the .wmv format try Dvd Flick or Super to convert them.

Here's a guide for doing it with Dvd Flick...

Dvd Guide

Another method would be to record to a stand alone Dvd recorder which will convert for you. If it has a HDD you can edit your video on that before burning...
