JonnyDread Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) Problem burning DL DVD's, i was using the program with no problem, i have to remove my dvd drive to help a friend install window and now that i have put the drive back in my PC i cant write to dvds i keep getting errors. The file i am trying to write i have successfully burned once. I am using a LG GSA-H54L Drive. burning at 4x, Please help? Thanks Error Log: I 21:48:13 ImgBurn Version 2.4.1.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I read a bit in the FAQ section and I tried this:Problem: You get an I/O Error saying 'The Parameter is incorrect'. Answer: In the settings screen, change the 'Transfer Length' option to 'Manual' instead of 'Automatic' and put it on '32 KB' instead of '64 KB'. That FAQ entry is nothing to do with what's going on here. You should set it back to Automatic if it's not on that now. Can you burn single layer discs ok or is the drive now useless for both? Maybe you damaged it during the move to/from your friends house.
