paulpc Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 I am trying to setup ImgBurn for burning x360 games. At Tools-->Settings-->Write-->Layer Break (for dl media) I ticked User specified and put 1913760. But someone said that I have to go to "Change Book Type..." and select my burner and at "Change for" select Drive (for DVD+R DL Media). At "New Setting" what should I select? DVD+R DL? DVD-Rom?... But the major problem is that my burner is Philips and it doesn't appear there. I don't know if I'm right, but should I select BenQ? because it lets me, if I select other says Unknown(FAILED) ? Thank you.
mmalves Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 You don't need to manually set the layerbreak if you burn from the .dvd file. Search for your burner model on CDFreaks Forum and find the OEM, which you can then try in ImgBurn's Book Type dialog.
paulpc Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 (edited) Well I found this: http://www.cdfreaks.com/hardware/product/7...-_-SPD1400.html and OEM : Philips-BenQ Where should I put the OEM in IMGBurn ? And at what speed should I burn? 2.4x or 4x ? Edited June 21, 2008 by paulpc
mmalves Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Try using the booktype options under the BenQ tab and see if they work. For dual-layer media, we only recommend using Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks.
paulpc Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 It works if I select Benq and yes I have Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks. Thanks for helping me !
