jughead Posted June 24, 2008 Author Posted June 24, 2008 (edited) Have you tried burning at 4x? Are those Verbatims made in Singapore or India? Im not sure about where they are from I dont have the wrapper anymore and yes I tried burning on 4x and tried switching drive to another machine on xp vista and osx switched 80 cables it gets to the layer break and crashes about 50% I ordered a pioneer 115d should be here by friday. I have yet to burn a dl but can burn sl just fine. this 20 pack is half empty even most people with crappy disks report 1 in 5 or so success. I have a feeling that the new drive is gonna do the same thing and by the way I have tried to burn other dl in the past- drive is 6 months old- and have 0 luck. this is the worst experience ever on a computer. thanx all who try to help us Peace and white light to you all Ps I still wouldnt mind any suggestions I might have missed Edited June 24, 2008 by jughead
blutach Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Is there perhaps a later firmware for your drive? Regards
jughead Posted June 24, 2008 Author Posted June 24, 2008 Is there perhaps a later firmware for your drive? Regards As far as I know ss01 is the latest firmware there is a faster read write hack to the same firmware but I really don't think that applies here
