orbitalfunk Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Ok. Basically I'm loading an image file to burn to +R DL (Hewlett Packard dvd+r) and ImgBurn keeps displaying these error messages at the bottom. (Logical Unit is in process of becoming ready) - for a few seconds before translating into (Medium not present) After some searching I came across this site along with the fact it could well be incorrect media... But here's the cookie. I've used this media before on the same image... It worked just fine, so I can't quite see what the problem is, the drive itself (NEC 3500AG) hasn't been used a great deal so that should be fine too. Any other possibles?
orbitalfunk Posted June 30, 2008 Author Posted June 30, 2008 (edited) Ok that was very strange.. Thought I'd check the other disks in the spindle. 1 by 1 they kept showing the same error. After accumilating a pile of 5 disks that prompted the described error, I put one in and it's working.... Very strange. Edited June 30, 2008 by orbitalfunk
