Writing ISO doesn't get past Writin LeadIn...

I am trying to burn ISO files to Verbatim 16x DVD-R discs at 6x speed (this seems the most reliable speed for those that have worked).

 

 

However, about 50% of the time, ImgBurn only gets as far as 'Writin LeadIn...' I.e. the buffer is filled and the OPC is done, but the write gets no further. The log is as follows:

We really need to see what the error says.

 

Can you post the full log after it's actually failed?

 

Oh and upgrade to the latest version of ImgBurn too.

I have now found the original log with the problem:

It would have been the firmware up that did it.

 

The other stuff wouldn't have made/doesn't make any difference.
