hey guys,

i have some "serious" problem which starts getting expensive.

 

i bought some verbatim dvd+r dls a few days ago and wanted to burn something.

first attempted worked fine.

second and all other tries failed.

i tried different isos and different hdds.

am using the verbatim dvd+r dls 8x burning at 2.4x (tried at 4x too - failed too)

 

the weird thing is that they all fail with the same error message at 33%

This is the real error. As I see it, you have 2 options: get Verbatim 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks or get a new burner, since new burners have better support Verbatim 8x MKM-003-00 blanks.

just got them - burned - same error.

 

ive heard about flashing my plextor 740a to some benq model - might that help?

According to this post, your drive is a BenQ DW1640 burner. Have a look around the CDFreaks forum for other people's experiences with crossflashing this model
