Hi,

I attempted to burn an ISO file with InfraRecorder. It didn't work so I gave ImgBurn a shot. No success here either, but I do have the log, and I was wondering if anyone knows what's wrong and how I can fix it. Is there anything wrong with my software, the very disc, or the ISO file I wish to burn? The ISO file was created with nLite so it should be fine.

Thank you for any advice.

I 01:05:58 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m27s66f) (Speeds: 4x; 10x; 16x; 20x; 24x)

I 01:05:58 Write Speed: MAX

W 01:06:46 Failed to Write Sectors 960 - 991 - Reason: Write Error

Try burning at 4x, 10x or 16x (usually with CDs the slower the better).

Changing to a new CD and burning at 4x made it all work!

This is the first time ever (even though I probably haven't burned more than 100 discs in my life) I have to change burning speed in order to make it work.

Problem resolved, thanks a lot!
