kef1234 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I am looking for help with windows media Centre. I am hoping this program will allow me to copy my dvd collection to my hard drive so i can then watch them via the pc without having to carry loads of films around. I need some help in what order to do what in. I did try use a older program called dvd dycrypter but i'm struggling with that also. When it says copy an image does it mean the film or an image(picture). What do you do once the dvd is transfered to harddrive to make it play. PLEASE HELP.
Cynthia Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum, kef1234! ImgBurn can only read unprotected DVDs like your home made movies that you have transfered to a DVD/Blu-ray disc. To transfer them to your hard disk, use the Read mode in ImgBurn. You will then have an ISO file on the hard disk. A program like VLC Media Player will play that ISO files. This guide tells you how to read a disc: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6379 Copying an image is transferring the content of the source disc to the hard disk.
