john12 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 (edited) I have a big trouble burning DVD+R dl discs. Everytime I try it stops at 50% getting invalid adress to write, may be a disc issue, Iv'e uppdated my driver and tried again, changed speed and tried again but no progress. I hope someone could shine some light over my problem. Here is one of the log files. There's basicly the same thing in them but diffrent write speeds, have tried 1x, 2x, 2,4x and 4x and no change. Worked fine with verbatim 2,4 just a month ago.. they didn't have any home so I tried this lo brand just to checkout how they would work... I 18:44:08 ImgBurn Version 2.4.1.0 started! Answer They don't Stick with Verbatim. If you have to buy a cheaper brand dL+ make sure you have numerous manufacturers DVD writers eg Pioneer 111,112,115,215. LITEON 20A1P > 20A4P NEC/SONY/OPTIARC 5200 > 7203A, SAMSUNG then at least one of these writers might finish writing to those crappy disc's. Might not be readable after write but you can't have everything (well you can if you use Verbatim)
