Try slowing the burn down to 8x or 12x.

As you have a liteon, use cdspeed or dvdinfopro to perform a disc quality test / PIPO scan on that disc and see how well your drive burnt it.

Have you already tried looking for firmware updates?

Cheers for the fast reply :)

Yes the firmware is up to date. I will try to make a scan, should i just post the log here, dont really have a clue what to look for in such a log.

It'll be a screenshot rather than a log, but yeah just post it here.

Basically, green = good, other colours are bad.

The lower the PI and PO errors the better.

oki tryed to run the scan with a ISO i burned succesfully yesterday

Hope that i did it the right way.

Maybe i should just try lower speed like you suggested, try a couple of burns with 8 and 12x to see if that fixed the problem.

A tips is to scan it at 4x in that Lite-On. Gives a little more accurate results. :)

Hehe oki gonna try that, but dosent that take like forever :) ?

Cheers for the fast replys again

Sorry. I expressed my self bad. It's not the verify speed in ImgBurn that 'needs' to be set to 4x. It was the read speed in DVDInfoPro when you did a scan by using that program on its own. :)

ah oki gonna try that later on. First im gonna try to burn a ISO on 12x to see if that solves the problem :)

Oki tryed to make another run with the same ISO as i got the read error on this time with 10x. The burn was succesfull according to Imgburn. I then ran DVDINFO at 4x like you Cynthia recommended and here is the result :/

*Edit* Could this just be a error in the ISO. Considering trying with a 8x burn just for the hell of it, maybe i get a different result.

10X is not a 'supported' write speed in your firmware, might be the reason for the failure.

I write my discs at 8x with my Lite-On as that gives the best results.

There are some advanced settings for Lite-On writers.

Does your log include this row, with these settings enabled?
