URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!

im having major problems trying to burn iso files onto an 8.5gb disk. ( for xbox 360 games )

whenever i open up imgburn and loadup the iso file ready to burn i insert my cd in then at the bottom of imgburn it says DEVICE NOT READ ( CAUSE NOT REPORTABLE )

what is this ? and how can i fix it ?

Go to "Help"->Imgburn Logs and post the top log from there that you have attempted to burn you .dvd.

THIS IS ALL THATS THERE I CANT EVEN START TO BURN THE DISK CAUSE IT WONT LET ME

restarting my pc dosn't make no difference :(

have you inserted a dual layer disc when this happens?

i dont think so, there just standard 8.5gb cd/dvd disks

That burner doesn't support burning dual-layer media :(

it works fine on my friends pc using same disks

then he must have a different burner

what do i need to do to change the burner ? im sorry im a dumb ass on these sorts of things, could u recommend a good one.

pioneer 115d is fine for dual layer , its pretty easy to swap out a drive, heres a guide http://www.fonerbooks.com/r_cd.htm

 

if you can tell us your location, usa/europe? we could find links to drives
