kneejouster Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Hi guys, i'm new to this forum, HELLLO! I read topics and used the search function to see if my question had been answered, i couldn't find an answer. I was burning a dvd, it was 50% complete when the PC crashed. Is there a way to put the rest of the information on the disc? im a tight ass who doesn't wanna waste the disc. I'm using the latest version of ImgBurn sofware on a windows XP machine. Thanks in advance
yangxi Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 do u got any crash if using other burning software too?
kneejouster Posted July 26, 2008 Author Posted July 26, 2008 do u got any crash if using other burning software too? the PC doesn't crash using other software. ive burned a few discs already with ImgBurn with no problems. Through normal use my machine has frozen before in this manner, i'd be very surpised if the software is at fault. Its frustrating that the disc is half written and i'll probably have to bin the disc......damn i'm a tight ass with money!
kevdriver Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Buy some more quality discs.......... Verbatims come to mind here, and please try to post a log of the burn that messed up. It would not be imgburn that caused your puter to "crash" Something else has to being going on within it. Have you run any diagnosis programs to see if it just needs a good cleanup. Might be an overheat problem or a PSU going south.

spinningwheel Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Not that I can think of... Trash it or hang it in the garden to chase birds away...
laseractive Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I have the problem like you. I only have the problem with IMGBURN not the other. But I must use IMGBURN because of Xbox360. No other Choice !!! Please try UltraISO, PowerISO, other programs, I think it's fine.
