LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 You've got DMA errors. To fix that you can try a number of things... Replace the cable going to the drive (with as short a one as possible) Update the motherboard / controller drivers. Uninstall the controller within Device Manager and reboot so it finds it again (This is the DMA fix posted in the FAQ)
