Seems like 4/5 discs get this when I try and Verify them, and only 1/5 discs will turn out fine. Could it be because of the DVD's I'm using or what?

Just to humor everyone, happyboy, what kind of media are you using? The ImgBurn log should provide that information.

With the drive in question the media issue is nearly irrelevant

Update your drives firmware http://www.storageupdates.philips.com/file...ate_to_Y5S9.zip

 

 

then do the other one if its the same drive, as the HH in description below is not exactly same but more than likely is same as filename for download is really DH-16W1S_2D15.zip

Update the firmware in your drives is at your own risk and down to you to research to make sure I have posted right links to your drive.

Out of curiosity, what's wrong with the drive?

whether it be in the guise of a liteon 1633 a sony dru 710a / an F16 there just not a very good drive.

 

The 2 liteons I had were absolute crap and tbh they were 1213s drives anyways

for future reference, copy and paste the info from the log file into your post.

trying to read a .txt file without having to download it is hard work :thumbup:
