olosi Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Hello guys, I'm trying to find the way to set booktype to DVDROM when burning on DVD+R DL, unfortunately with no success. I own a pioneer 212. Thanks in advance for any advice.
dontasciime Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Pioneer 212 automatically sets DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM just burn it. Note : That you need to be running modified firmware to be able to set DVD-ROM on Single layer +R Dual Layer + R is Automatic with official pioneer firmware
olosi Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 Pioneer 212 automatically sets DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM just burn it. Ok m8 I trust you and I'll give it a try, I was wondering why IMGBURN keep declaring the booktype as DVD+R DL in the info window before burning. thanks for your quick reply.
cornholio7 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 it will only show in the right hand window as -ROM after the burn

NOw I have a different problem and need to understand why the H. the burned iso is not working, but this is my problem, I think. Thanks again everybody for the nice support.
mmalves Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Have you verified the disc against the ISO image to see if it was properly burned? If you don't remember you can check the logs (they're at Help/ImgBurn Logs)
