Finalisation error (Reason: Session Fixation Error Writing Lead Out )

I was burning a couple DVD's using the same batch of new, made in singapore, Verbatim DVD+R DL's (MKM-001-00). My most recent disc would not finalize, which I couldn't understand since the previous two burns were perfectly fine (I made sure to restart my computer between burns). Here's the log of the coaster:

I'm having a similar issue with my new DVR-113NP, my other Pioneer died but this new one (relabeled Asus from what I understand) is failing.

It burns video fine with Nero but when I try to burn a .DVD with imgburn I get a sync failure when its trying finalize. If I retry and cancel etc it finishes and actually turns out a good disc .... not sure if it's having an issue with the litescribe or what?

I 11:03:49 Destination Device: [1:1:0] PIONEER DVR-113NP 1.00 (G:) (ATA)

I 11:03:49 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x)

Look for a firmware upgrade for your burner, as I've found mentions of firmware 1.01 but couldn't find a link for it. Where are you Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks made? It's written in the packaging.

After upgrading the firmware you also might want to try burning at 4x speed, as some burners perform better burns on that speed :)

I found mentions of a 1.02 but again no download. I'll try to keep up on that. I do not have the packaging sheet for my disc, they were a spindle and the paper sheet is long since gone. I will try the 4X burn speed and see what I come up with. Thanks for the quick reply.
