jazzytaxi Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 I was burning a couple DVD's using the same batch of new, made in singapore, Verbatim DVD+R DL's (MKM-001-00). My most recent disc would not finalize, which I couldn't understand since the previous two burns were perfectly fine (I made sure to restart my computer between burns). benstetson Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 I'm having a similar issue with my new DVR-113NP, my other Pioneer died but this new one (relabeled Asus from what I understand) is failing. It burns video fine with Nero but when I try to burn a .DVD with imgburn I get a sync failure when its trying finalize. Where are you Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks made? It's written in the packaging. I'll try to keep up on that. I do not have the packaging sheet for my disc, they were a spindle and the paper sheet is long since gone. I will try the 4X burn speed and see what I come up with.
