BurnerFreak
Just got 6 TY coasters, tried nero and it didnt get to verify as it failed to burn, tried some MCC 03RG20's with the same results Pioner was running 8.37 f/w so reflashed to both 1.37 and 1.39, still get a verify fail ? Trying the same spindle pack in my Benq1640 now. Could my Pioneer 110 be buggered ?

LIGHTNING UK!
Sure you're not just running AnyDVD/DVD43 and it's changing what ImgBurn is trying to verify?
BurnerFreak
Sure you're not just running AnyDVD/DVD43 and it's changing what ImgBurn is trying to verify? I am running AnyDVD 5.8.2.1, but the thing is it only started happening last night/this morning and i always have AD running........... Ill upgrade to 5.8.3.1, turn it off and try again and let you know Cheers oh great one PS Could future ImgBurns detect AnyDVD or DVD43 and pop a waning up ? BurnerFreak
Another point Why would the Benq1640 verify ok but not the pioneers, both times anydvd was running ?

chewy
Turned AnyDVD off and all verifys fine now.............. The question is why start doing this to me last night as i have always had anydvd running ? Our's is not to reason why, just burn or die, it's common knowledge never use anydvd/dvd43 when you don't need them. I use the analogy of camels and straw, some people think their camels can haul an infinite amount of straw, they blame that last piece that broke it's back. LIGHTNING UK!
It would all depend on what you've burnt. Or perhaps if AnyDVD is enabled/disabled for certain drives... I dunno. Basically, AnyDVD could be patching the IFO files to remove PUO's or allow you to play the main title instantly rather than having to go through all the adverts and stuff first. As it's changing things on the fly (before they're passed to ImgBurn), they'll then differ from what's in the Image. If PUO's are already off in the image, AnyDVD isn't changing anything - hence why it could work sometimes and not others.
