adem24 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Hello, I'm not sure but it seems that if I want to burn a backup copy of an image file (ie. an iso file) then I need to make a Build first. I wonder if it is possible to skip this step. ImgBurn should have an option for burning a backup image without going thru the Build process.
cornholio7 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 use read mode , then change to write mode and burn the iso
adem24 Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 use read mode , then change to write mode and burn the iso Hmm. I am afraid you maybe haven't understood what I mean: I have an iso image file. I now want to burn a BACKUP of this iso file without unpacking the contents of the file. I can do this by Build'ing a new project, but this is a lengthy and IMO an unneccessary step since the image is already existing; in this case one should not need to create another image of the image... Therefore my suggestion to have an option in ImgBurn for burning image files verbatim without unpacking it on the destination medium.
adem24 Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 Case solved! :-) ImgBurn has already an option for this case: "Write files/folders to disc"
blutach Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 It's called write mode - Ctrl-Alt-W to get there. Regards
dontasciime Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Write click on ISO/MDS and choose burn with ImgBurn
