mmalves Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I 20:15:10 Destination Device: [0:0:0] MATSHITA UJ-840D 1.00 (E:) (ATA)I 20:15:10 Destination Media Type: DVD+R (Disc ID: RITEK-F16-01) (Speeds: 2,4x) Check with the manufacturer of your laptop if there's a newer firmware for your burner. It seems the media you're trying to use isn't supported by your burner. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work OK, especially the ones rated for 8x burning speed

Dinofly Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 (edited) Hi, I know this is a very old topic, but I am having the same problem with the same burner. I would like to know if the given solution worked for you, or if the burner was dead. Thank you ! Edited August 24, 2009 by Dinofly
