aaronjamesjr Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hi! I had a problem earlier with my writer so i changed it. Then again another error keeps on popping up. Though I successfully burned the created image i get error messages on the verification stage. The disc plays fine though. Is it IMG's probs or it's with my writer? LOCOENG Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I 18:38:28 Source Media Type: DVD+R DL (Book Type: DVD-ROM) (Disc ID: CMC MAG-D02-00) (Speeds: 4x) The failed verification simply means that your drive can't read back the data on your disc compared to the data on your HDD that is was burned from. W 19:13:22 Failed to Read Sector 3776208 - Reason: Unrecovered Read Error The above read error is due to the discs you are using. I guess you were lucky to get a good burn out of them. In the future try some Verbatim or Taiyo Yudens.
