markbuhay Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 i burned a dvd file onto a dvd cd using imgburn. when i played it on my dvd player, it didnt play but it plays on my pc. any settings i should change? i used dvdflick to convert my avi to dvd then burned it with imgburn. Any problems to play other burned discs on that stand alone player? You could post a log from that burn. markbuhay Posted August 18, 2008 Author Share Posted August 18, 2008 (edited) @cynthia yup, that's the disc. i was wondering why the writer ejected and went back in again. that's when i saw this " W 16:43:36 Waiting for device to become ready..." but when i played it back in my pc , it did. i chose auto on the speed.should i choose 4x? i'll try using a slower speed. thanks for the advice. @mmalves yes, i think i foced imgburn. thanks also for the advice. it looks like the media i was using was the culprit? thanks for the help. i'll try to buy another disc and see how it goes.
