Sthomp001 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I have a blu-ray project that I have burned to my hard drive as a BDMV folder. I burned the folder to a BD-RE (TDK 25GB). The disk plays on my PC but when I play it on my Panasonic bd 10a blu-ray player, the disc won't play. Two weeks ago I burned another project like this with a LG BD-RE with imageburn and it played flawlessly on my blu-ray player. My question is are there certain settings I should be using to burn the BDMV folder. I used the UDF 2.5 setting, but I am not sure what else I might be missing. Are there preferred brands of discs that work better with imageburn. I should point out that I burned the project to the TDK BD-RE using Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus and it did play on my blu-ray player. Any help would be appreciated.
blutach Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 ImgBurn is not "media sensitive". If your media is OK and your drive likes it, then ImgBurn will burn it. UDF 2.5 is the right setting. Regards
lfcrule1972 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Do you have a copy of the log you can post ? I am guessing there weren't any errors but it might be worth a look.
