Im using Memorex DVDs. It worked once using ImgBurn. I just double clicked on the dvd file and ImgBurn opened up and burned my BFBC. Now when i try to backup TooHuman onto a DVD it gives me that^. My DVD burner is External LG using a USB 2.0 to IDE & SATA Cable. Powered by external power supply. Could it be my DVDs? HELP :(

I 20:45:14 Destination Device: [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B DL11 (E:) (USB)

I 20:45:14 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 2.4x)

The only reliable dual-layer media is Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore. There's also firmware DL13 available at http://au.lgservice.com/ (Device Driver -> DVD-ROM(Writer) -> page 7) for your burner. Remove any disc from the drive and close the tray before applying the new firmware.

So if i update the driver i won't get that error and waste another dvd :(

Edit: I clicked burn, i did not get that error at the beginning, hopefully everything goes smooth since i wasted 10dvds already :( "Stupid Move"

Switch to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore anyway. They really are the only way to go for DL burning.

Yea i will buy them next time. I can't believe it was just a little thing like updating my driver. But why did it work the first time. When the driver was outdated?

It was probably a fluke burn - I bet the quality of it was pretty low.

btw, 'firmware' is not a driver, it's like the OS (operating system) for your drive (stored on the drive itself) and controls everything to do with burning.
