D3AD Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 (edited) Okay im trying to burn my backup with ImgBurn, I backed up BattleField: BC. When i start the burn maybe 5-10seconds in i get this error. " I 20:45:26 User Specified L0 Data Zone Capacity: 1,913,760 E 20:46:45 Failed to set L0 Data Zone Capacity! E 20:46:45 Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure E 20:46:45 Operation Failed! - Duration: 00:01:31 " Im using Memorex DVDs. It worked once using ImgBurn. I just double clicked on the dvd file and ImgBurn opened up and burned my BFBC. Now when i try to backup TooHuman onto a DVD it gives me that^. My DVD burner is External LG using a USB 2.0 to IDE & SATA Cable. Powered by external power supply. Could it be my DVDs? There's also firmware DL13 available at http://au.lgservice.com/ (Device Driver -> DVD-ROM(Writer) -> page 7) for your burner. Remove any disc from the drive and close the tray before applying the new firmware.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 It was probably a fluke burn - I bet the quality of it was pretty low. btw, 'firmware' is not a driver, it's like the OS (operating system) for your drive (stored on the drive itself) and controls everything to do with burning.
