Hey there, knew at this and i know il prob get a bunch of replies saying use the search button

But i was just wondering, if i just go out and buy a brand new xbox 360 game, and put it straight into the

pc and back it up with IMGBURN, will it be able to play on the 360?

Ive heard the 360 is programed not to open R/RW media?

So in theory is it possible to buy a game, and never actually need to put it in the 360,

as in just use the back up and keep the disc basically untouched except for making

the back up

any replies much appreciated

original? Kinda defeats the purpouse

I'm sorry but you'll have to look elsewhere for info about that, since ImgBurn doesn't support doing it and we don't have experience doing that :(

okay, before i say anything, i am not supporting criminal activiity in any way shape or form (:

ImgBurn can burn xbox360 games to double layer DVD+R. layerbreak needs to be custom defined to "1913760", and i would recomend not burning any quicker than 2.4x. It on the other hand cannot back them up to your harddrive on your computer. To learn how to back them up to your computer, im sure there are places that you can learn from. Hope this helped somehow

Actually, when burning from the .dvd or .mds file you don't need to manually set the layerbreak, since those files tell ImgBurn where to place the layerbreak

There's lots of guides for ripping xbox360 games on the net - google is your friend.
