dontasciime Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Change your IDE cable, use an 80 wire one. Update the drives firmware. That game is nearly not worth backing up http://support.asus.com/download/download_...SLanguage=en-us
drs1979 Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 (edited) rofl thanks for the info, but i still have to change the IDE cable even though its run on SATA? Edited August 29, 2008 by drs1979
mmalves Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Try another SATA cable then, or you think we memorize every burner model ever made and if they're IDE/PATA/SATA? W 16:28:54 Failed to Write Sectors 436192 - 436223 - Reason: Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (ULTRA-DMA/32) This error may also be caused by old drivers so make sure you're using the latest storage drivers available for your motherboard. Look on both the motherboard's manufacturer website and also on the chipset/controller manufacturer website

Yeah you have to change the "CABLE" be that IDE or SATA You also have to check your bios to see how you have SATA set to handle ATAPI devices. Also ditch chipset driver for storage and use standard Ms one. Also stay away from latest Asus optical's they are not very good.
