Jareth Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) I know blue screens aren't caused by Imgburn and that it's a driver problem, but you guys seem to be very helpful in these areas, so I was wondering if you could help me out. Basically when I begin to burn a dvd, the middle progress bar (buffer) fills completely then it seems to pause for a moment before the blue screen pops up and restarts my machine. Looking at the Minidump file, it seems to point to nvgts64.sys as the main culprit. Although it does also point to scsiport.sys earlier on as well. I may of course be reading it wrong so I can post the dump file if necessary. I've tried to replace this driver, however after reinstalling the nvidia driver pack that nvgts64.sys seems to come with, I am still having the exact same troubles. If anyone can help me out I would be very greatful. I'm currently using ImgBurn version 2.4.2.0, Windows XP 64bit and the disks I am using are Verbatims. If there is anything else you need to know to help me out, please feel free to ask. Edited September 11, 2008 by Jareth
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Yup, please do post the dump file. If you need to adjust the settings as to how much gets 'dumped' when you hit a bsod (so we have more to go on), please do that too!
