Help with booktype change

I have a problem changing my booktype.

Every time i try to change it through 'drive (for DVD+R Media)', it shows "UNKNOWN (FAILED!) Reason: Invalid Command Operation Code" at current setting.

Some help would be nice.

 

 

P.S.: Settings are

SONY DVD+-RW DW-Q58A UDS1 (ATA)

Current Profile: DVD+R

 

Disc Information:

Status: Empty

Erasable: No

Free Sectors: 2.295.104

Free Space: 4.700.372.992 bytes

Free Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF)

Supported Write Speeds: 2,4x; 4x; 6x; 8x

did you try the lite on tab?

Changed it BTW, but the log keeps being the same, the booktype keeps being DVD+R in the log

ricoh is the disc id and nothing to do with the booktype setting of your drive

Okay, I've changed the bookmark type of 'drive (for DVD+R Media)' with Lite-On, the log is the same though.

When I try to change 'Current Media' it shows "Failed! Reason: Invalid field in CDB"

Okay, I'm gonna burn then.

If the ones on the liteon tab work, hit the advanced button and add your device identifier (SONY DVD+-RW DW-Q58A) to the liteon tab in there - that way the program will do it for you automatically each time you burn.

Closed all programs though.

I've burnt the disc and it's indeed DVD-ROM.

Thanks everyone for the help, this really helped me about.
