Egonny Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 (edited) I have a problem changing my booktype. Every time i try to change it through 'drive (for DVD+R Media)', it shows "UNKNOWN (FAILED!) Egonny Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Okay, I've changed the bookmark type of 'drive (for DVD+R Media)' with Lite-On, the log is the same though. cornholio7 Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 the booktype wont change until you actually burn it
Egonny Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 the booktype wont change until you actually burn it Okay, I'm gonna burn then.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 If the ones on the liteon tab work, hit the advanced button and add your device identifier (SONY DVD+-RW DW-Q58A) to the liteon tab in there - that way the program will do it for you automatically each time you burn.
Egonny Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed! Device: [1:0:0] SONY DVD+-RW DW-Q58A UDS1 (D:) (ATA) Unable to lock volume for exclusive access. Reason: Access is denied. Hint: You've got another program running that's using the drive, close it and then click 'Try Again'. Closed all programs though.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Read the FAQ, it tells you what to do when that happens.
Egonny Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 I've burnt the disc and it's indeed DVD-ROM. Thanks everyone for the help, this really helped me about. BTW: Nice sound added when finished!
