DaPunisher Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 When i got to burn a DVD+R DL I got two differnt message: Failed to set L0 data zone capacity Reason: Write Then i tried another time and it gave me: Failed to set L0 data zone capacity Reason: Invalid Field in Parameter List Here is my log: I 17:31:53 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LOCOENG Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I 17:32:01 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x)I 17:32:01 Destination Media Sectors: 3,827,520 I 17:32:01 Write Mode: DVD I 17:32:01 Write Type: DAO I 17:32:01 Write Speed: 1x Your burner only supports 4X burning with these discs....outside of that we only recommend Verbatim for DL applications.
DaPunisher Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 So what your telling me I can't even burn at 1x speed. If I put it to 4x speed would it write or no still? Your suggestion is to just get Verbatim disks and it should work fine?
LOCOENG Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 My suggestion is to try the discs you have at 4X, if that doesn't work then try Verbatim discs.
DaPunisher Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 I tried at 4x speed but the same error comes up here is my log form that: I 23:21:44 Operation Started! lfcrule1972 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 There have been a number of posts lately where we have seen problems with Dual Layer burns, they have all been using DL discs that weren't Verbatims with the MKM-001 dye........ I really don't think it's worth the hassle - burning to DLs if you don't have Verbs.
