LOCOENG Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 The reason we don't recommend brands for DL burning other than Verbatim is due to the results you are seeing...shoddy inconsistent results which leave you scratching your head. How does the burner deal with single layer media? Two burners, same media, failure with both would point to the media.
rockseller Posted October 10, 2008 Author Posted October 10, 2008 Looks like its the media... ITS SO WEIRD THO!!. Because i bought in Office depot 5x Memorex Dvd-dl but each one with its cage, worked like a charm that's how i burned 5 of them, then bought the 25 pack wich is not working, what a crap quality!
LOCOENG Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 I'll bet if you go back through your logs you'll find the singles you bought show a different MID than the ones you are having problems with now....another reason we only recommend Verbatim. If you buy Verbatim MIS that is what you'll get. Memorex/OD/Sony/Imation etc. all outsource to different companies to manufacture their media it's likely you'll actually be getting a different disc with each new spindle.
rockseller Posted October 10, 2008 Author Posted October 10, 2008 (edited) thanks for fast response, i think i wasted 50usd in this 25pack Just when i downloaded fallout 3 licked review copy hehe Edited October 10, 2008 by rockseller
LOCOENG Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 How many have you used? Try taking them back with the argument that they aren't compatible with your drive...can't hurt to try.
