Hello folks,

I just tried to make an ISO out of my blu-ray backup. It is around 35 GB large.

I set UDF 2.50 and added my folders to the ImgBurn List. Then I started "burning" and in the task manager I can see that my RAM gets fuller and fuller until it's full and nothing happens anymore (I need to restart,it nearly freezes). But when I cancel the "burning" everything works just fine again. By the way Nero works fine (but cannot burn blu-ray :( ).

Am I doing something wrong ?

My computer:

Intel Q6600

4 GB RAM

500 GB HDD

OS: Windows Vista x64

Disable/uninstall your antivirus program and try again. Some of them try to cache large files to scan and end up using all the RAM.

Are you sure you're not just looking at what the OS is caching?

Looks at ImgBurn as a process, I'm sure it won't be using up your RAM at all beyond what it normally does (and that depends on the size of the buffers you've set).
