dontasciime Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 btw which recent games do not work on +R on the Wii as all of mine work on verbatim dvd+r @4x set to dvd - rom maybe put your asus writer into a usb enclosure or buy a cable from ebay http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trk...=usb2+ide+cable That can be troublesome if the chipset does not like chipset in drive or pc etc but maybe worth a try or return your asus as faulty and get another brand.
mbiesheuvel Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 (edited) Well mario kart and star wars: the force unleased don't work. And i cannot set my asus writer on book type dvd-r because asus is not in the list in imgburn. And I have a asus mainboard and asus drives so I may hope it's fully compatible :S. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 You can't booktype DVD-R fullstop. I hope you didn't buy that ASUS burner because you saw it had the same brand name as your motherboard. You don't buy an optical drive because the parent company makes good motherboards. You buy an optical drive because the parent company makes good optical drives. ASUS isn't a make I'd recommend to people.
dontasciime Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Those 2 games work perfectly well on Verbatim 16x [YUDEN000 T03] DVD+R burnt @ 4x and verified on a Benq1650/55 with booktype set to DVD-ROM
