thorB Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I'm looking to add imgburn to unattended install and use the elbycdio.dll for IO. So far I got this: Start /wait z:\packages\imgburn\SetupImgBurn_2.4.2.0.exe /S Copy ElbyCDIO.dll %systemroot%\system32\ElbyCDIO.dll regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\ElbyCDIO.dll Registry: [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-915561978-1808799208-1543859470-4877\Software\ImgBurn] "IO_Interface"=dword:00000003 However I want the registry patch to apply to all users on the pc. isn't there an easy way to unattend install imgburn with special settings? Thanks for a exellent program.
dontasciime Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Dunno how your gonna get the elby.dll to register without actually installing clone dvd as all the times I have tried this in past the dll has no reference and file cannot be registered.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Generally you just leave it on SPTI. There's no way to have everyone use a default bunch of settings without forcing the program to load from (and use) an INI file. I guess I could make ImgBurn use any that exist in HKLM if the set under HKCU aren't present. You could always add a HKCU default set in a login script?

I sure could use loginscript. however we do have some laptops that are not allowed into the domain, but uses terminalserver. these would have a benifint if they could use imgburn as well. SPTI: I havent tested out that setting yet. do you recommend that in a production domain? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=969 Edited October 15, 2008 by thorB
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 If you just do the group policy setting, I see no problem with it.
thorB Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 hmm seems like elby is in trouble: New copyright law drives out CloneCD sheep Due to the new legal situation we will stop the sales of CloneCD We would like to take the opportunity to thank our customers for the long loyalty to CloneCD! We hope that you will also be excited about our future products and remain with the most cordial greetings Your elby team
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 That was years ago, elby stopped selling it and another company started.
