(makumbang1@9:59am 10/26/08) First of all i love IMGBURN. Anyway, i cannot get the dvd's to work. They come up as mixed media discs. I am using +R's. Not dual layers. This is an example of the file im trying to burn. Definitely,Maybe[2008]DvDrip. Is this a image? Do i need to create a dvd cue? Also , is there anywhere that i could read more about video files, image files,etc.. Thanks for the help.HL-DT-ST-DVD-RW-GSA-H60L SCSI

Makumbang1, One thing right off, CMC mags are utter crap blank discs. We reccommend using Verbatim blanks, abit more expensive but a whole lot better quality. As previous posts mentioned we need a complete log file of the failed burn ( s ) to see whats going on. Open Imgburn, go to help, click on logs, open log for the failed burn, copy and paste into your post. This will give us more detailed info on what went wrong. :)

Good Lookin on tha specific brand of discs! Where besides tha internet can you purchase Verbatrim discs. $$The Verbatrim company hereby owes me some sort of royalty form the formentioned shout out$$. What am i to do with all these cheap DVD's

looking at your log file

I 22:58:17 Contents: 22 Files, 0 Folders

it 'seems' that your trying to make a DVD out of non-DVD compliant files.

You know you have to convert avi, xvid, divx files with other software first before imgburn can make a DVD compliant disc of them dont you ? otherwise you end up with a normal data dvd/disc that only your PC will recognise

when youve converted the files you should end up with 2 folders, a VIDEO_TS folder and a AUDIO_TS folder. the VIDEO_TS folder will have several files in it, like .ifo,.bup,.vob

Load the file in http://www.dvdflick.net/ and let the program create DVD compliant files (.vob, ifo, .bup) that can be played on your stand alone player. There is a guide on the DVD Flick homepage. The program will automatically create the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders for you. You can then use ImgBurn to burn the final files from DVD Flick.

cynthia, i don't want to burn with that other progrram all i want to use it for is to encode the files???

Yes, DVD Flick will convert the avi/DivX file so it can be played on your player. DVD Flick is not a burning program, so you will end up using ImgBurn for the burning part.
