Telemicus Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Hi, Am currently using ImgBurn to burn some dual layer disks. The MAX write speed of the D/L disks is 8x. I tend to burn less than the max as errors are less frequent. Recently I have had some issues with disks not working that I can't confirm is related to the disk or the burner. However, I have noticed that regardless of setting the speed to either 1x, 2x or 4x in ImgBurn it always burns at 4x. I have tried modifying the Automatic Write Speed settings to 1x for that type of media and drive but the result is always that the disk is burnt at 4x. Any ideas why I can't force it to burn at the slower speeds? Thanks. T
cornholio7 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 in the right hand panel, what does it show for supported write speeds?
