mmalves Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 If you had looked in the Guides section you'd seen this guide -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555 For Audio CD you can use CD-Rs or CD-RWs only.
jzs Posted October 29, 2008 Author Posted October 29, 2008 i followed the guide but it is still saying medium not present-i have a cd-r disc in the drive-what now?
mmalves Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 If it shows Medium Not Present then the drive thinks there's no disc inside. Are you sure you have at least a CD burner? Look in ImgBurn's Log window (View -> Log if you closed it), what does the 'Found ...' line say?
lfcrule1972 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Sounds like the installed burner doesn't burn CD-R's either that or that part of the drive is knackered.... A copy of the log from ImgBurn would help us

mmalves Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Have you tried different brands of CD-R? How about CD-RWs? We need to find out if your drive doesn't like a specific disc/brand or if it has lost its CD burning capability.
