mmalves
If you had looked in the Guides section you'd seen this guide -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555 For Audio CD you can use CD-Rs or CD-RWs only.
jzs
i followed the guide but it is still saying medium not present-i have a cd-r disc in the drive-what now?
mmalves
If it shows Medium Not Present then the drive thinks there's no disc inside. Are you sure you have at least a CD burner? Look in ImgBurn's Log window (View -> Log if you closed it), what does the 'Found ...' line say?
lfcrule1972
Sounds like the installed burner doesn't burn CD-R's either that or that part of the drive is knackered.... A copy of the log from ImgBurn would help us

mmalves
Have you tried different brands of CD-R? How about CD-RWs? We need to find out if your drive doesn't like a specific disc/brand or if it has lost its CD burning capability.
