I 17:41:33 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3) (Speeds: 4x, 8x, 12x)

Please use decent media such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

I 17:41:33 Write Speed: 10x

You've chosen a speed which isn't supported by your burner/firmware/media combination.

I 17:42:28 Average Write Rate: 2,459 KB/s (1.8x) - Maximum Write Rate: 5,618 KB/s (4.1x)

Make sure DMA is turned on.

I 17:41:33 Test Mode: Yes

You do realize you are in test mode?

Oh and i did the DMA thing as well just now.

Might be because you did the DMA 'thing' after the burning with lead in
