Memorex External DVD-rw 20x problems with img burn?

Hey I noticed one other comment on the forum (http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=7645&view=findpost&p=78655) and was wondering if anyone else had problems with Memorex 20x external dvd-rw drive. I just got it so the idea that the drive is too old seems fishy to me. I can't find much else on the forums for help. O and here's my log.:

change your media, it is not very good and causes exactly the problem you describe. Get some taiyo yuden / tygo2 tygo3 or mcc media. Ditch the ritek media. Also stick to 8x writing with your usb or 12 max if you have to but 8x is a better option if using usb2, if using usb 1 chuck everything in bin.

As Donta suggested your media choice is rubbish....we only recommend Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim.

Thank you very much I will try that. Also the comment about the USB1 was helpful because thats exactly what its connected to. Sorry for not mentioning that. Didn't realize that it would effect it that much. O well.
