rebelfluff Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Hey I noticed one other comment on the forum (http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=7645&view=findpost&p=78655) and was wondering if anyone else had problems with Memorex 20x external dvd-rw drive. I just got it so the idea that the drive is too old seems fishy to me. I can't find much else on the forums for help. O and here's my log.: LOG I 09:27:24 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! dontasciime Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 change your media, it is not very good and causes exactly the problem you describe. Get some taiyo yuden / tygo2 tygo3 or mcc media. Ditch the ritek media. Also stick to 8x writing with your usb or 12 max if you have to but 8x is a better option if using usb2, if using usb 1 chuck everything in bin.
