I have tried burning a game to these DVD-Rs, and I have burned things onto them successfully before. Recently I have been getting a problem about 60% through on verification. I have tried burning at the slowest speeds to ensure that there would be no problems, but nothing changed. The 1x write speed is not supported in the firmware - so the writer is only using a very general writing strategy. So the slowest you should try with is 4x with that brand of media. You can see after the brands name - the supported speeds. 02:53:16 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: RITEKF1) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x, 12x, 16x) There has also been released a new firmware for that writer - SB01. You have SB00 installed.
