I am trying to create a backup copy and I am getting this error. The drive is new and it has the last firmware.

Any suggestion is welcomed !

Hi and welcome to the forum, tibip! :)

I 10:14:56 Source Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: CMC MAG-D04-00)

A low quality disc was used and the result is shown now. Perhaps the error was already there when the disc was burnt or has degenerated over time. I guess you already tried to clean it.

The disc can't be read back. Not much to do other than to use the original DVD again.

Try reading that disc on other drives and, if you're lucky, you may be able to copy it

True. Lite-Ons are not the greatest readers. Optiarcs/Necs and Pioneers are better.
