Burn failure - power calibration errors

Just tried to burn a 360 backup with ym new pioneer DVDRW Sata drive and i got an error pop up half way through (using the same DL disks as always)

 

 

Thereafter the disk failed with power calibration errors. I am running the latest version of Imbgurn with the DL layer break set manually as well. Also see log file below:

Your firmware could use an udate.

The only reliable DL media is Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) made in Singapore burned at 2.4x.

ok will check firmware first, i have been using these discs for months without a problem until i got this new burner!

 

retails as Aone DVD DL discs from ebuyer - they have always worked fine!

ok firmware wasn't fully up to date, so have updated to latest version.

 

Will have to purchase some more discs, typically my last one became the coaster!
