slippyfrog Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 HI all, my problem is the last backup of a xbox360 game i was doing with imgburn was at 70% in completion when my computer freezed on me and had to shut down the computer, i have been using verbatim disks and have had no problems, i also have been using datawrite dvd+r dl 8.5 2.4x in the past,but today its not reading them anymore and have used 6 and have had to bin, does anbody have any idea whats going wrong????i had this problem ages back and sorted it but cannot remember what i did.my driver is a optiarc dvd rw ad-5170a ata device is that helps.Any info much apreciated. LOCOENG Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 I 11:52:58 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: CMC MAG-D03-64) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x) Get some Verbatims for DL burning...nothing else. You are also selecting 2.4X as your burn speed, but it's not supported by your drive/firmware/media combo...this isn't the reason for your failure though.
