SONOFPHAROAH Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I have been burning DVD's for nearly two years with this program and have NEVER had a problem until now. When I get to write disc my drive makes a weird humming sound and then the error message comes up. I played movies in the drive to make sure it still worked and it did. It is just when I try using this program that it will not work. Could I have a problem with the computer or should I start playing around with the speed settings?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Writing isn't the same as reading, maybe your drive is on its way out?

Any suggestions on the best drives out there to buy? I heard Sony makes a pretty good one.
Cynthia Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Nice writers could be an Optiarc 720x or a Pioneer.
